...the bed nucleus of the anterior commissure, as defined by Gurdjian (â28). As illustrated in Figures 4 and 5,it lies just lateral to the region where the fornix passes caudal to the anterior commissure. This bed nucleus consisprimarily of small, densely packed neurons, although a few very large cells are scattered throughout the nucleus.
