Collator argument

The hierarchy was constructed based on the information provided in the atlas (pages 281-287), and on the latest version of the hierarchical tree provided by the first author of the atlas. The entorhinal cortex (Ent) appears as a part of the medial occipito-temporal, where has the same hierarchical level with the parahippocampal gyrus and also as a part of the limbic gyrus, where is a part of the parahippocampal gyrus. We have chosen the hierarchical tree of Ent that of the limbic gyrus-parahippocampal gyrus on the basis of its relationship with the parahippocampal gyrus and on the hierarchical information provided by the NeuroNames nomenclature (Bowden 2002).
