('85) closely matches our anterior lateral subnucleus; however, a subnucleus that coincides with AL is not shown in Paxinos and Watson ('86); rather, the lateral posterior subnucleus depicted in Plate 21 of this atlas is at the approximate location of our posterior lateral subnucleus, suggesting that both AL and PL may be included in the lateral posterior subnucleus of De Olmos. |
