Bed Nucleus Of The Stria Terminalis Lateral Subdivision Posterior Part (BSTLP) de Olmos -1985 equivalentClass In our earlier version of this chapter (de Olmos et al., 1985) most of the subdivisions of the lateral bed nucleus were recognized in nearly the same form as those in the current account. Mihail Bota
Posterior Lateral Subnucleus Of Bed Nucleus Of Stria Terminalis (BSTPL) Moga-Fulwiler-Saper overlap Moga et al. (1989) identify separate anterolateral and posterolateral parts of the lateral bed nucleus, which correspond closely to our posterior part of lateral bed nucleus (BSTLP)... Although it is difficult to decide with certainty from their description, it appears that a small rostral ventrolateral part of their preoptic nucleus may also be included within our BSTLP. This would correspond to the area in which the BSTLP merges laterally with the sublenticular zone. Mihail Bota
Bed Nuclei Of The Stria Terminalis Anterolateral Area (BSTal) Swanson-1998 overlap Collator note: this relation is extracted from Figure 2 page 197. Details about the comparison can be found in cited references. Only the caudal part of BSTal is captured in spatial relations, the rostral part appears to be different of any BST defined in the Alheid nomenclature. Mihail Bota
Bed Nuclei Of The Stria Terminalis Anterolateral Area (BSTal) Swanson-1992 overlap Collator note: this relation is extracted from Figure 2 page 197. Details about the comparison can be found in cited references. Only the caudal part of BSTal is captured in spatial relations, the rostral part appears to be different of any BST defined in the Alheid nomenclature. Mihail Bota
Bed Nucleus Of The Stria Terminalis Subarea 1 (BST1) Geeraedts overlap The lateral and ventral parts of this subdivision correspond to our posterior part of the lateral bed nucleus (BSTLP), whereas the medial portion is included within our anterior part of the medial bed nucleus (BSTMA; see above). Mihail Bota
Posterodorsal Nucleus Of Bed Nucleus Of Stria Terminalis (BSTPD) Moga-Fulwiler-Saper overlap Moga et al. Mihail Bota
Bed Nucleus Of The Stria Terminalis Anterolateral Subnucleus (BSTAL) Moga-Fulwiler-Saper overlap Moga et al. Mihail Bota
Bed Nucleus Of The Stria Terminalis Anterolateral Area (BTal) Ju/Swanson overlap The anterolateral area (AL) of the bed nucleus identified by Ju and Swanson (1989) corresponds more or less to our description of the posterior part of the lateral bed nucleus (BSTLP), although parts parts of the caudal-most aspects of this area could be included within our intermediate column of the lateral bed nucleus.
