Help page for search of Brain Parts

The search of Brain Parts in BAMS 2.0 consists of a simple yet powerful form, which allows users to search by strings included in the brain parts' names, abbreviations and textual descriptions.

Users can search by species and/or by brain parts nomenclature, leaving the field "Brain Parts" empty.

The most general form of search can be performed simply by hitting "Search" button. This search will retrieve all brain parts recorded in BAMS 2.0, regardless of species or nomenclature

If you would like to search for a certain brain part, e.g. amygdala or BSTad, simply type the name or the abbreviation of it.
