Description of part

The juxtacapsular BSTL is a small lens shaped cell aggregate made up of small ovoid cells that fill a shallow concavity made by the medial surface of the internal capsule at the same plane as the crossing fibers of the anteriort'commissure. Its medial edge borders the dorsal and posterior BSTL, but is distinguishable from these latter areas by its smaller and more densely packed cells.
