Subventricular (SV) BST is a small oval-shaped subnucleuslocated beneath the surface of the lateral ventricle (Fig. 1D). This subnucleus is composed ofâ small, ovoid, darkly staining, closely packed neurons with indistinct nuclei (Fig. 32).
